What should you expect during consultation?
You will meet our team on your visit, and your doctor will personally evaluate your condition, ask about your health history and will take some photographs &/or measurements. A detailed analysis of your problem and a solution most suitable, surgical/non-surgical, would be offered. You will have an opportunity to discuss treatment options, explore outcomes of procedures and the potential risks and complications associated, recommend the course of treatment and get your questions answered.
What should you expect during the treatment?
The anaesthesia team assesses the medical fitness before surgery. They can prescribe some diagnostic testing and medications. Once the medical fitness is declared, instructions for the day of surgery are given. On discharge, postoperative care and follow-up instructions are explained.
What should one expect during recovery?
There can be some discomfort, swelling and pain after surgery. Post-surgery medications are prescribed for faster recovery. Our team will advise on the care of the surgical site and feeding or activity restrictions that may be necessary to promote normal healing. Also, you can discuss specific issues to be monitored in the general health of your patient during recovery with your doctor. Periodic follow-ups are advised to monitor the patient’s health status.
How much the treatment costs?
Treatment cost varies based on the type of procedure planned and many other factors like other medical conditions, choice of operative facility, room choice etc. We also offer short-stay surgeries (like same-day surgeries) to save costs. While cost is an important consideration from your perspective, it should not override clinical considerations, and that’s why a balanced approach is advisable.
